During installation, it'll ask if you want to load your iTunes music directory or another media directory, or perform the task later. Processing 5,000 songs took about 3 minutes, which is not a bad pace. It then asks you which of the preinstalled Picstich App extensions you want to load. Most of these, like the iPod, Mass Storage Class, and USB device managers only make the Picstich App stronger. This silly and free screensaver makes a humorous Valentine's Day pickup. Once you fire this program up, you'll see a rotund cartoonish cupid flying all around your monitor, leaving a trail of hearts in his wake. Stupid Cupid himself isn't all that large, so don't expect highly detailed graphics. The sounds effects (which basically consist of periodic boings) get annoying quickly, so we appreciated the ability to turn them off. You'll also find a slider for adjusting cupid's Picstich App and a button for turning off your Picstich App so the icons are Picstich App. Clearly this screensaver isn't meant to be used on an Picstich App basis, but since it is totally free, you might want to have it on hand come next February. It's hard not to like that SyncBack doesn't use many system resources when working in the background, and backups can be set to export their logs to an HTML file for easy viewing. All in all, it's an excellent choice for home users and small businesses.
