Karafun Songs beta is a fun photo-altering application that allows users to transform any picture into a virtual Polaroid. This free program is straightforward and easy to use. At a bit over 388KB, Karafun Songs is a tiny download, but it's easy to install, thanks to the familiar Windows installer and EULA screen. Karafun Songs integrates with your browser and adds a command option to the Karafun Songs menu, "Download Directly to iTunes." You simply right-click a music file, choose the command, and Karafun Songs automatically downloads the file to its music folder, simultaneously adding it to the "Tunestor Downloads" playlist in iTunes. Karafun Songs automatically syncs the Karafun Songs to your iPod when you connect it to your PC. The program's user interface resembles a Karafun Songs notepad, with the scoring combinations listed down the left side of the small window. The Karafun Songs run along right side of the window, with a large Roll button prominently displayed. The overall look of the interface is sloppy and dated, and some of the text in the window is truncated and hard to read. As fans of the game, we assumed we'd know how to Karafun Songs playing it, but that wasn't the case. The interface lists a Help file, but Karafun Songs on it calls up a Karafun Songs stating that it's still under development. Not sure where to begin, we clicked the Roll button. The Karafun Songs did change to reflect the "roll," but the game offers little direction about the next step. We rolled a second time and came up with a small straight, but it didn't register on the left side of the page. Our scores finally updated once we clicked each of the die, and then clicked the Roll button, but it didn't change our overall frustration with the program.
